Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Linea Analytics website, dashboard, and related services ("Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the Service

You may use the Service only in accordance with these Terms and all applicable laws. You are responsible for:

  • maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • ensuring the domains you add to the Service belong to you or you have permission to monitor
  • complying with all applicable privacy and disclosure requirements on your own website

You agree not to misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access it using methods other than the provided interfaces.

2. Customer Data

"Customer Data" refers to information you submit to the Service, including account details, domain names, and usage metrics associated with your sites.

You retain all rights to your Customer Data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process Customer Data solely for providing and improving the Service.

We do not sell or share Customer Data with advertisers or data brokers.

3. Visitor Analytics Data

Sites using our tracker.js script collect a minimal set of technical information about visits, such as:

  • page URL and referrer
  • timestamp
  • device type and browser
  • screen size
  • country or region (derived from IP, which we do not store)

This data is used only to generate aggregated statistics for you. You are responsible for ensuring your own privacy policy accurately reflects your use of the Service.

4. Payment and Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis. By subscribing, you authorize our payment provider to charge you the applicable fees at the interval you select.

Fees are non-refundable unless required by law. You may cancel anytime, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We may change pricing with reasonable notice.

5. Service Availability and Changes

We aim to keep the Service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. If a change materially reduces functionality, we will provide notice.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not:

  • attempt to extract personally identifiable information about your visitors
  • combine analytics data with other datasets to identify individuals
  • use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent activity
  • reverse engineer the tracker script or the dashboard systems

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these requirements.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, code, and materials associated with the Service (excluding Customer Data) are owned by Linea Analytics or its licensors. Using the Service does not give you ownership of these materials.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if:

  • you breach these Terms
  • your subscription lapses
  • we are required to do so by law

Upon termination, your account will be closed and your Customer Data handled according to our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that analytics data will always be accurate or complete.

To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the preceding 12 months

Some jurisdictions may not allow these limits; in those cases, they apply only to the extent allowed.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of:

  • your misuse of the Service
  • your violation of these Terms
  • your violation of applicable laws or third-party rights

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date indicates the latest version. If changes materially affect your rights, we will provide notice. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, excluding conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Delaware, unless otherwise required by law.
